Our Services
Alexander Home Inspections provides visual, non-invasive home inspections, including general, pre-listing, new construction, radon, termite (WDI), mold, and well/septic inspections, as described on our Services page. Our inspections and reports reflect the condition of the property at the time of the inspection only and are based on a visual review of readily accessible areas and systems. Scheduling & Payment
Inspections are scheduled based on availability and confirmed once we have your property address, preferred date, and any required payment or deposit. Fees are quoted based on the scope of the inspection and property details you provide; a change in property size, age, or condition may affect the final price. Payment is due at or before the time of inspection unless we agree to other arrangements in writing.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an inspection so we can offer the time slot to another client. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a rescheduling or cancellation fee, which we will disclose to you in advance.
Inspection Report — Use & Limitations
Our inspection report is prepared for the exclusive use of the client who ordered the inspection and is not intended for reliance by any other party unless we agree otherwise in writing. The report reflects a visual, non-invasive assessment of the property on the date of inspection, performed in line with the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, and does not guarantee against future defects, hidden conditions, or issues that arise after the inspection date. It is not a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy, and it does not replace inspections by licensed specialists (such as structural engineers, electricians, or pest control professionals) where those are recommended.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our inspection services is limited to the fee paid for the inspection in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Client Responsibilities
To help us provide an accurate inspection, please ensure the property is accessible (utilities on, areas unlocked, pets secured) at the scheduled time, and let us know about any known hazards on the property in advance. We reserve the right to note any areas we were unable to access or safely inspect in the final report.
